Objectives of the GIS
The GIS EAU TOULOUSE promotes, encourages and supports collaborative research actions in the field of water for socio-economic and academic actors.
- To create a Toulouse transdisciplinary research community in the field of water in order to respond to societal issues and challenges for the socio-economic fabric and also for those working in the field.
- To unite the players in the field of water research in the Toulouse area around structuring projects and to encourage the emergence of devices or places for demonstration, observation and reference, making it possible to catalyse technological, social and economic innovation.
- To support public water policies and facilitate exchanges between public, private and associative actors and researchers in the field of water.
- Facilitate access to regional water knowledge, expertise and initiatives through a single portal accessible to stakeholders and the public.
